What We Do

Whether your goal is to help your child emerge from their shell or simply offer a healthy creative outlet to release built up energy The Teeny Tinys environment is designed to nurture each child’s growth and development holistically. Our Workshops include a variety of musical genres ranging from Motown to Classic hits and familiar favourites engaging children with movement, singalong play, call and response, crafts, rhythm and rhymes as well as story time and role play. Our workshops, family events and online resources help set the stage for early learning and development and are consciously created to ensure all activities are age appropriate. The Focus

  • Ages 2 months- 5 years and 8-12 years with our Music Forever Club

  • Engaging young minds with interactive simple rhythms, rhymes, call and response along with movement that connects elements of music such as tempo, melody and pitch

  • Strengthening fine motor skills with shakers, drums, finger plays, scarves, science experiments & crafts

  • Sparking a sense of wonder and curiosity through imaginative story telling and read aloud activities that are ram packed with messages of gratitude

  • Connecting mothers by cultivating a strong support system and sense of community

What to Expect:

  • Outdoor workshops combining elements of nature with instruments, storytelling, movement and song (weather pending)

  • Parents favourite requests remixed and transformed to be suitable for children (this is always a highlight)

  • Values such as patience, gratitude and kindness embedded in all we do

  • Educational fun exploring instruments, nature, connection, sensory play

  • Creative adventures!

The Benefits

  • Children begin to recognize and predict distinct musical patterns in the music and anticipate facial or vocal cues from engaged parents or educators.

  • Children develop literacy awareness and have several opportunities to practice autonomy. As a result, children develop leadership, resilience and self-regulation tools that support their overall growth throughout life with a sense of accomplishment and wonder.

  • Children who are naturally reserved emerge from their shell and others who are naturally more outgoing have a healthy and creative way to express themselves being seen as competent and capable.

We have worked with Save The Children Canada advocating for children’s rights and have developed content for Kidoodle TV, just search Classy and look for Ms. Aria! We have taken part in festivals such as Afrofest with the Children’s Village and local community builders like Mommy Connections and The Reading Partnership.
